Kate and Spencer met in 2017 in San Francisco and hit it off pretty much immediately - there hasn’t been a day since that initial meeting they haven’t either been together or spoken. In fact, Spencer left for a 3 week work trip to Japan just a few weeks after meeting, and called Kate on the train in Tokyo just to say hi - that’s when they knew this was different. Since he got back they were inseparable and there was an implicit “See you tonight” every morning as they left for work. Within 7 months they were excited to start apartment hunting - and four years later are still in that same place!

Over the past few years, Kate and Spencer have continued to deepen their relationship and friendship with the same excitement as in those early days - they truly are each other’s best friend and home. 

As a couple, they love to travel, especially when there’s food involved. They’ve eaten their way across California, and spend a good amount of time in Napa enjoying the wine and the scenery. Other than that, they love a good cocktail or tasting menu. Over the years, they’ve traveled to many places, including Vietnam, Singapore, Bora Bora, Mexico City, Hawaii, Tahoe, and Italy when Spencer popped the question.
